Openaire Cinema is the brainchild of three brothers with different expertise - a professional chef, an event production company owner and a sales & marketing professional. As big film lovers, we wanted to put an exciting new spin on the big screen experience. We had a lightbulb moment to create a "drive-in" cinema on water!
The Float-In cinema was born and the Openaire team jumped straight into action to pull together a cinematic experience like no other! With the help of some brilliant partners, the UK's very first float-in cinema experience came to life within just a few weeks. The first round of events in September 2020 was extremely successful, with great press coverage and sold-out screenings.
We brought the float-in cinema back to London in June 2021 and September 2021, again with great success.
It's now all hands on deck as the team are working on big plans for 2022 to bring this magical and unique cinematic experience to even more film fans. Watch this space!
